Basketball Club
The club was established in
2002 and has been the home of basketball in Perth ever since. The main
focus of the club is long term player development.
In season 2011 / 2012 Perth Phoenix has teams
represented at Under 18 men and Under 16 men in Scotland’s National
Leagues as well as a Senior Men’s team in Tayside & Fife regional
league.
Perth Phoenix is a family club and has opportunities for all ages from an Under 14 development squad for boys and girls right up to a senior men’s team, so if you think basketball is for you then please contact the club or just come along to any of our training sessions and we will be happy to discuss all opportunities with you.
The draw was made on Sunday, 18th December at St John’s by Berfin
Dogru at half time during the Cadet men v Development squad game.

Perth Phoenix Basketball is pleased to announce that Pete Nicholson
(second left) was recently selected as a finalist within the Volunteer
of the Year category at the recent Basketball Scotland Volunteer
Recognition Awards.
Pete’s nomination by the Club is in recognition of his outstanding contribution towards the club in a voluntary capacity, over the years. Most recently his role as Team Manager of the Junior Men’s team and his stewardship of Café Phoenix have been an invaluable help to the Club
Although Pete did not receive the final overall award from the association, Perth Phoenix Basketball Club and its members recognise the amount of committment that Pete has dedicated to the club and thank him for his efforts in helping the Club run on a yearly basis.

Perth Phoenix recently received a Community Chest Award from St. John's Shopping Centre and the sponsor's logo has been added to the Junior kit.
